MAINTENANCE CONTRACTS

Maintenance Contracts - for optimum system protection

Regular maintenance is the only way of ensuring that your ICCP system is reliably protecting your assets. If a system is neglected, you may not be aware of it until a serious problem has already occurred.

A Maintenance Contract with Corrintec guarantees that the system is thoroughly examined and tested by qualified corrosion engineers at agreed intervals.

ICCP Systems

  • Check that transformer/rectifier units are operational and capable of providing current and voltage output required.
  • Assessment of condition of anode groundbed based on a calculation of the groundbed resistivity.
  • All low level maintenance procedures.
  • Test measurements from test point locations.
  • Adjustments to achieve optimum protection throughout the system.
  • Check isolation features and condition of isolation materials.

Sacrificial Systems

  • Measure 'on' and 'instant off' potentials of the system.
  • Measure current output from sacrificial anodes where possible to determine anode current and driving voltage of anodes, thus determining their condition.
  • Predict remaining life span of anodes.

Optional Surveys

  • Close Internal Protection Surveys (CIPS) to calculate potential based on results between known test locations.
